Standard Chartered Bank tasked us with proposing a product launch campaign for their student banking account. After conducting market research, we uncovered 2 key consumer insights; Students find achieving financial independence challenging, and that they feel uncertainty towards adulting.
To tackle those challenges, we proposed to position Standard Chartered as a bank that guides youths into adulthood by helping them achieve financial independence with the new student bank account.
The campaign’s communication efforts revolve around the slogan “ Saving is as easy as _____”, aiming to make saving relatable and approachable by associating its ease with a familiar, simple activity.
The posters and stickers below, which I designed, are strategically placed near canteens and water coolers to remind students that saving money can be as easy as not buying another iced tea; which is a drink often bought daily by students in polytechnics.
