Docent Training at National Gallery

In a school assignment, I was given the opportunity to learn how to be a docent and gave a tour to my classmates at the National Gallery. It was insightful to learn about all the research that goes into a tour, and the skills needed to alter tours to better suit its participants.

Although the participants were my classmates, I had other museum visitors listening in as the tour done during opening hours. This made my experience feel even more authentic despite it being an assessment, and I had a lot of fun in the process!
